October 10, 2023- New Feature: Free offline mode for [SuperRack SoundGrid](https://www.waves.com/mixers-racks/superrack). We've added an offline mode to the existing SuperRack SoundGrid application. This allows you to set up your sessions offline, anytime, anywhere, and come to the show prepared. It is available via a separate license, and will load like the regular SuperRack SoundGrid, except it will not pass audio. 1. Download this latest waves v14 release.
2. Extract and install waves central.
3. Perform an offline installation by choosing plugins you like to install or install all online
-edit- Actually, I just download directly from Waves Central online and it all worked.
4. Install the included patch (which will replace WavesLicenseEngine.bundle in Library>Application Support>Waves>Modules)

Only if installing COSMOS:
5. Replace "index.js" in
/Library/Application Support/Waves/COSMOS/HTML/
6. Replace "app.asar" in
/Applications/Waves/COSMOS/COSMOS.app/Contents/Resources/

7. Open terminal and paste following commands:
xattr -cr /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle
8. Run waves keygen on a windows pc or with Crossover/Parallels/whichever Windows emulation app you have on Macs.
9. Find your computer id on waves central licenses tab, enter exact id to keygen and generate license file.
You can also find ID on Library>Application Support>Waves>Licenses>LastAcceptableMACAddress
**TIP** keep a copy of your license file separately in case you need to replace the license again (that is, if you run Waves Central after you do the RET method, it will make all your plugins demo mode again, so having a copy of the license file is handy)

STEP 10 not necessary, don't do it is my recommendation:
10. Removes waves local server : (Run in terminal)
sudo rm -rf /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/WavesLocalServer
and
killall WavesLocalServer & rm -rf /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/WavesLocalServer

11. RESTART
12. Copy license file to Library>Application Support>Waves>Licenses
13. RESTART your Mac now again FIRST and run Waves au reg utility 14 in
/Applications/Waves/WaveShells V14
Click Let's go, it will identify your plugins.
14. Open your daw it will automatically scan plugins, if not rescan plugins manually.
**Important note: If you open Waves Central after doing the RET method, Waves Central will "fix permissions" automatically and all the Waves plugins will go back to demo mode. If this happens, NO NEED TO REINSTALL, just repeat 4, (5 & 6 if you have COSMOS), 7, 8 & 9 (or if you kept a copy of your license file separately, go straight to step 11), 11, 12, 13 and 14.
** ANOTHER TIP, KEEP A COPY OF THESE INSTRUCTIONS IN A NOTE OR TEXT FILE, SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO SCOUR AUDIOZ FOR THE RET METHOD AGAIN **

Haven't tested on Sonoma yet but I plan on trying later with my 2018 Macbook Pro that has Sonoma. I'm guessing it will work
